Hormonal, fertility & sexual health
Kisspeptin-10
A hormone that triggers the release of the reproductive hormones LH and FSH. Studied in human fertility research.
The reference protocol uses a 10 mg vial. With a 5 mg vial, choose 5 mg under “Your vial”: 1 ml of water gives the same concentration and the same volume.
How it works
It activates the kisspeptin receptor in the hypothalamus, which releases GnRH. That raises LH and FSH and, through them, testosterone or estrogen.
What it is used for
Fertility research, including as an IVF egg-maturation trigger, low testosterone and libido.
What the evidence says
Human studies show that LH and testosterone go up. In IVF studies it triggered egg maturation with a lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation.
Side effects and cautions
It acts for a short time, and using it continuously can make the body stop responding.
Half-life
About 4 minutes (clinical studies)
Makes sense for
- Fertility and low-testosterone research
Does not make sense for
- Hormone-sensitive cancers
Boost the effect
- Vitamin D and zinc in the normal range: low levels are linked to low testosterone
- A healthy weight and enough sleep: both support reproductive hormones
