Growth hormone & performance
CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
A blend of a GHRH analog and a growth-hormone secretagogue, combined for a stronger GH pulse. The blend itself has not been studied.
How it works
The GHRH analog sets how big the growth-hormone pulse can be and ipamorelin triggers it, so together they give a larger pulse than either alone.
What it is used for
Raising GH and IGF-1 for body composition, recovery and sleep.
What the evidence says
Human physiology studies show GHRH and GHRPs work together, but this specific blend has not been tested.
Side effects and cautions
The side effects of both: flushing, water retention, sleepiness and mild hunger. It raises IGF-1, so avoid it with active cancer.
Half-life
CJC-1295 about 30 minutes, ipamorelin about 2 hours (vendor estimates)
Makes sense for
- Adults with low GH or IGF-1 looking for a stronger GH pulse
Does not make sense for
- Active cancer or a history of cancer
- Diabetes or prediabetes
Boost the effect
- Inject on an empty stomach (2 hours after eating, no food for 30 minutes after): sugar and fat blunt the growth-hormone release
- Evening dose before bed and deep sleep: most growth hormone is released in deep sleep
- Enough protein: growth hormone needs building material to work on
