Recovery, repair & inflammation
BPC-157 + TB-500
A blend of BPC-157 and TB-500 aimed at tissue repair. Each one is studied mostly in animals; the blend itself has not been studied.
How it works
BPC-157 supports local repair and new blood vessels, while TB-500 helps cells move to the injury. Together they aim at faster recovery.
What it is used for
Recovery from muscle, tendon and ligament injuries.
What the evidence says
Each one has animal data, but the combination has not been studied.
Side effects and cautions
The cautions of both: no human safety trials and a theoretical tumor concern. Both are banned in sport.
Half-life
Not established in people
Makes sense for
- Adults recovering from muscle, tendon or ligament injuries
Does not make sense for
- Active cancer or a history of cancer
- Competitive athletes (banned in sport)
Boost the effect
- Collagen or gelatin (10–15 g) with 50 mg of vitamin C, 30–60 minutes before rehab exercise: supports collagen in tendons and ligaments
- Enough protein: tissue repair needs amino acids
- Gentle, progressive loading of the injured area: guides how the new tissue forms
